WHAT TO EXPECT
- Preparation: Before your session, the target areas should be thoroughly shaved and cleansed. Typically, no numbing agent is required, but ice packs can be provided upon request for those with heightened sensitivity.
- Treatment Process:
- The Clarity II laser delivers targeted energy through a specialized handpiece, addressing both thick and thin hair. You may feel a mild warmth, accompanied by the cooling sensation of the built-in cooling system, which helps keep the skin comfortable.
- The device’s Intellitrak® AI technology ensures consistent energy delivery across the treated area for optimal results.
- Treatment duration generally ranges from 15 to 30 minutes for full-body sessions, depending on the areas treated and individual circumstances.
Immediate Results: You may notice initial reduction in hair density after the first session, with more significant results developing over multiple treatments.
AFTERCARE
- Moisturize: Apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer twice daily to hydrate and aid skin recovery.
- Avoid Hair Removal Products: Refrain from using waxing, tweezing, or electrolysis in the treated area for 4-6 weeks post-treatment. Shaving is allowed.
- Minimize Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure for 5 days to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. Apply a moisturizing SPF 30+ sunscreen daily.
- Wait to Wash: Avoid washing or wetting the treated areas for at least 6 hours post-treatment.
- Topical Care: Reapply Fucibet cream (or as directed) on treated areas if necessary to reduce inflammation.
- Special Care for Underarms: If treating underarms, use powder instead of deodorant for 24 hours to minimize irritation.
- Avoid Exfoliation: No physical exfoliation or use of exfoliating ingredients (AHA, BHA, PHA) for at least 72 hours.
- Cool Compresses: Apply cold gel packs, cool compresses, or chilled aloe vera gel to soothe the treated areas if needed.
- Minor Redness is Normal: Slight redness is a common reaction and typically subsides within a few hours.
